A cattle waterer is a new type of drinking equipment for large livestock, also known as a cattle water bowl, cattle water basin, automatic cattle waterer, or automatic cattle water bowl. The device mainly consists of a cast iron bowl body, a stainless steel tongue, and a copper valve core, and is available in both stainless steel and PP plastic. It uses a touch-sensitive pressure switch or a tongue-triggered water inlet mechanism, featuring a float-type structure and a constant water level function, allowing for on-demand water supply and automatic shut-off. It is water-saving, hygienic, and keeps the cattle bedding dry, making it suitable for cattle, horse, and other large livestock farms.
The equipment is manufactured using a one-piece casting process and is polished to remove burrs. It is commonly found in tethered cattle sheds, allowing two animals to share water and achieve free access to drinking water.
